Internationally recognised sports law advisors
We established Livida Sport in 2020, having built our reputation as leading sports lawyers during our combined 25 years with a top London law firm.
Liz founded the Sports Law Group at a top London law firm, and saw the Group’s reputation grow as it became recognised as one of the leading specialist sports practices in the UK. She has worked on some of the most high profile cases in sport, and on some of the biggest deals.
Liz has been a trusted advisor to sports clients for over 10 years, and in 2015 was ranked 13th in a list of the 50 Most Influential Women in Sport. She has been a ‘Leading Lawyer’ for many years in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500. She has a Diploma in Sports Law and a Masters in Sports Management & the Business of Football.
Her clients include talented athletes, football clubs from around the world, and well known sports businesses. They turn to Liz for everyday practical, commercial advice as well as guidance during times of crisis.
Stef prides herself on being a consigliere to her sports clients – which includes athletes, intermediaries, clubs and governing bodies. She has been recognised in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 as an ‘Associate to Watch’ and a ‘Rising Star’ in Sport.
Before qualifying as a lawyer at a leading law firm, Stef spent three years at Bloomberg, covering international banks in London and Dubai before moving to New York to work in business development for insurance giant, AIG.
Stef is a member of England Boxing’s HR, Legal & Compliance Subcommittee, where she advises the Board on disciplinary and regulatory matters. She has a Masters in International Sports Law from Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economia (ISDE) in Madrid and speaks Spanish and Italian fluently.
Lin has worked in international investigations for nearly 40 years. She began her career in the Taiwanese Police, before moving to Interpol. She established First Approach Limited in 1999, advising international businesses on fraud investigations and due diligence, particularly with a Middle Eastern and Chinese focus. Her successes include identifying and securing the confession of the fraudsters behind a billion dollar pyramid scheme, and leading a global financial institution’s multi-million dollar internal fraud investigation.
In a world where regulatory and compliance demands have such prominence, Lin is an invaluable resource. Over the past 20 years she has reported on nearly 10,000 companies and individuals for clients who need an independent view on their business associates from the Far East and elsewhere.
She is fluent in Mandarin, a tenacious investigator, and a skilled negotiator. She is also a black belt in judo.
